Questions and answers
It is a viral video set to Smalltown Boy, the 1984 song by Bronski Beat. One performer screams at the camera with mouth wide open, the other dances behind in a stiff 80s style, then they swap places and dance together. The AI cat version made it huge, and now people do it too. It is also called the screaming cats trend.
Choose Pets and add one or two cat photos, or choose People and add two photos, one person per photo. With one cat photo, AI adds a dance partner. Pick a scene and a pack, then press Pay & start. Your video starts after payment and is usually ready in 10-15 minutes. The routine is already set up; no prompt is needed.
No. Add your photos, pick a pack and pay; you type your email at checkout. Your video starts as soon as the payment goes through, and we email you the link. To see your videos on another device, open My videos and choose Find my videos.
A is the singer: A starts in the close-up, screaming at the camera. B is the dancer: B dances behind A, then they switch places and B takes the close-up. At the end they dance side by side and rush the camera together. Put your loudest one in A.
One cat or one person per photo, facing the camera, in good light, with the face clearly visible. Use the original photo: avoid blurry photos, heavy filters, screenshots and photos where the face is tiny or partly hidden. For People, use only photos of people who agreed to be in the video: no celebrities and no one under 18. For a cat duet, two cats with different coats are easiest to tell apart.
No. In Pets, one photo is enough: your cat is A and screams at the camera, and the AI adds a made-up backing dancer cat as B that looks nothing like yours. Add a second cat as Cat B to put both of yours on stage. People always needs exactly two photos, one for A and one for B.
Cats only. The Pets routine is written for domestic cats, so a dog or another animal is likely to be redrawn as a cat, or the video fails. Use cat photos for Pets.

Usually close, but not guaranteed. AI can change faces, markings, hands, paws or expressions, especially in fast moves. A sharp, well-lit original photo with the face clearly visible gives it the most to follow, and two cats with different coats are easiest to keep apart. Watch the whole video before you share it.

AI results vary, and a completed video may change faces, markings or movements. Each new generation uses another credit. If your video has a technical problem, contact support@smalltowncatai.com.
A silent 21-second MP4 in 1080p (1080 × 1920), vertical 9:16, sized for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. It usually takes 10–15 minutes. You can leave the page: we email you the link, and your videos stay in My videos.
Videos are generated with Seedance 2.5, a video model by ByteDance. You do not write a prompt: the routine is written for you. Every video is AI-generated and labelled as such.
No. One video uses one credit. Credits come in one-time packs of 1, 3 or 5 videos, with no subscription and no account, and they never expire. Failed generations return their credits automatically.
If generation fails, the credit returns automatically and we email you so you can try again. This returns a credit, not a cash payment. For technical problems, contact support@smalltowncatai.com.
The swap is part of the screaming cats routine: at 0:07, B takes the close-up and A drops back, and from 0:14 they dance side by side, then both rush the camera. If one cat’s look ends up on the other, or the two blend together, that is an AI error; cats with different coats are easier to tell apart. If your video has a technical problem, contact support@smalltowncatai.com.
