This page explains what Smalltown Boy Cat keeps about you and for how long.
Your email
You do not need an account. When you pay, Waffo collects your email address and shares it with us. We use it to record your purchase and credits, to email you about your order and your videos, and to let you sign in later with a one-time code or a one-time link. This browser keeps a cookie that lets it start and open the videos bought in it; it expires after 30 days.
Photos and videos
Photos you pick stay in your browser until your video starts, also while you pay; Forget this browser removes them. To make a video, the photos are uploaded and may be sent to AI image and video generation services. Only you, and anyone you share a video link with, can open your videos; site administrators can view them to moderate content and handle support.
How long files are kept
Uploaded photos, and any images made from them, are deleted 7 days after upload. Generated videos are deleted 30 days after they are made. Sign-in links expire after 48 hours, and this browser's access cookie after 30 days.
Payments
Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake (Waffo.com Limited), the merchant of record for your purchase. It receives your email address and payment details; we never see your card number.
Emails
We send only emails about your order: a payment confirmation, a link to your finished video or a note that it failed and your credit was returned, and sign-in codes you ask for. Each of these emails has a one-time sign-in link that works for 48 hours. Anyone with a video link can open that video until it is deleted, 30 days after it is made. Emails are sent through Cloudflare.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site. Microsoft Clarity also records how you scroll, click and move through the pages, so we can see where the site is hard to use. Both receive your IP address and information about your browser and device; neither is used for advertising. Google Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode: in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask first, and until you accept no analytics cookies are set, Clarity does not load, and Google Analytics only receives cookieless measurements with no identifier stored on your device. Elsewhere both are on by default. You can accept or decline at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
You can ask us to let you see the personal data we hold about you, get a copy of it, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop or limit using it, and withdraw any consent you gave. To do this, email support@smalltowncatai.com from the address you paid with; we check the request through that email address and reply within 30 days. When you ask us to delete your data, we delete your email address, your orders, photos and videos, and keep only the purchase records the law requires us to keep. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
